Villa Location
Villa Flor de Neu is located on the outskirts of Javea, just 5 minutes' drive from the popular sandy Arenal Beach and its lively promenade. The quaint old town and port are also within a short drive, both less than 4 miles away. All 3 areas offer something a little different with a great choice of cafes, bars and restaurants - you'll never be short of places to eat and drink here!

Location features

Local markets and shopping

There's also a supermarket less than a mile away from the villa. The open air market comes to the old town of Javea every Thursday morning, and is a great place to buy local produce ranging from fruit and vegetables to handbags and clothes. Why not stock up for a BBQ, or enjoy a cold drink and tapas while you wander around?

Bars and restaurants

There are restaurants less than a mile away from the villa but for a wider choice, head to the centre of Javea. There's so much choice when it comes to bars and restaurants, ranging from frozen yoghurts to Michelin star venues. The Arenal promenade is just a 5 minute drive away. Plus, there's alternative eateries in the old town and down at the port where you might sample some fresh fish or local tapas. Or, if you fancy a lazy night in, why not order a paella to take back to your villa?

The Blue Flag Arenal Beach is great for families, with shallow waters and a wide stretch of golden sand - perfect for sand castle competitions! What's more, it's only 5 minutes' drive from the villa too. You've also got Grandella Beach close by and whilst this is stony, it's been voted as one of the best beaches in Spain. Why not try a kayak or paddle boarding lesson while you're there?

Family fun

There is plenty for all the family to enjoy in Javea including go-karting, horse riding, mini golf, tennis and paddle (a cross between tennis and squash). For the water babies, there's water sports galore, that's if you can tear yourself away from your very own private pool!

Places of interest

Javea is set at the most easterly tip of Spain, equidistant between the beautiful cities of Valencia and Alicante. If you prefer to stay closer to home, take a trip into the old town of Javea and explore the cobbled streets and white washed houses. You'll find plenty of boutiques and lots of restaurants along Calle Mayor, which is the main street here. You can even take a guided tour, sometimes run at night, and learn about the history of this pretty village.

There are 2 golf courses local to Javea - Club de Golf Javea is a 9-hole course (don't forget your handicap card!) or the award-winning Marriott Golf and Spa Resort.

Other places of interest

Mount Montgo rises above Javea with its orange and grey rock resembling the head of an elephant. There are many signposted walks on the slopes of this National Park and you can even climb the mountain if you wish, avoiding the heat of the day.

Every villa comes with its own manual, complete with details of the best restaurants, taxis, local amenities and activities. And of course, our reps are on hand to make sure you love your holiday more. If you need any advice or tips on the local area, they will be more than happy to help.

Spain's forth largest city and the capital of the Valencian region. The City of Valencia with a sophisticated atmosphere amongst the pavement cafes and squares surrounded by historic architecture is a must visit. The home of the Paella, the cuisine is rich and varied whilst the shopping is excellent with Lladro porcelain produced in the city. The famous "Las Fallas" festival every March with towering wooden and Papier Mache sculptures on always every street corner culminates with magnificent firework displays and the burning of the statues.
Guadalest, the 'Eagle's Nest', enjoys one of the most spectacular locations of any village in Spain, set high up on a pinnacle and carved out of a mountain top in the midst of truly stunning scenery. Magnificent views over the surrounding mountains and countryside down to the valley of the Guadalest river below. It has a population of only 200 but has long been one of the most popular tourist attractions in Spain. Of Islamic origin, Guadalest was a military stronghold of great strategic importance and is the site of several ancient castles, the remains of which can still be seen today - although earthquakes and battles during the War of Spanish Succession (early 18th Century) have reduced these castles to little more than shells.
