Villa Description
Swimming pool, BBQ area and outside space

Outside, Villa L'Aresta has a spacious lawned garden, plenty of room to sunbathe, and a large private swimming pool. Views from the covered dining terrace stretch across the open countryside to the mountains in the distance. To one side of the grounds is the private tennis court (not championship standard, basic racquets and balls provided), and to the other is a fantastic, traditional BBQ house with a brick BBQ and a wooden table and benches.

A long driveway from the country lane leads to the spacious, partially covered parking area at the front of the villa.

Living space

The lounge has comfortable seating with a TV, and patio doors opening onto the covered dining terrace. The lounge leads into the dining room which has a large table and chairs, as well as a small seating area and an ornamental fireplace. The dining area is traditionally furnished, with tiled floors, beamed ceilings and exposed stonework walls. The fully equipped kitchen is a step up from the dining room, and has a breakfast table, plus access to the BBQ house and grounds.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The traditional decor is continued into all 5 bedrooms. On the ground floor is a twin bedroom with an en suite shower room, as well as a separate shower room by the kitchen. Upstairs are 2 more twin bedrooms which share a separate bathroom, and 2 double bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom and access to a shared sun terrace. From here you can appreciate the fantastic views across the garden to the bay of Puerto Pollenca and the stunning Tramuntana mountain range.

The views en route over the open sea are spectacular, and the beach is great too!

Activities and things to do
Go Karting, Alcudia
All children (and adults too) can enjoy racing around the track and pretending to be Lewis Hamilton or Jensen Button. Try your hand at this exciting sport at Karting Mania in Puerto Alcudia.

Golf Pollensa
This 9 hole course is great when time is pressing. Protected by the mountains 'Puig de Santa Maria', Golf Pollença was designed in 1986 on a small hillside in a green valley overlooking the sea. The course is challenging with its tricky dog-legs and difficult green. No doubt one of the most beautiful courses in Mallorca

There are plenty of fast food type restaurants. There is also a 54 hole 'super-crazy-golf' course next door accessible from both in and out of the park.
Puerto Pollensa
Lying on a sheltered bay, Puerto Pollenca is a very long beach stretching nearly all the way to Alcudia. The sandy beach gently slopes into its clear waters. The bay of Puerto Pollenca boasts a wide choice of water sports to choose from for all the family to enjoy. There is also a sailing school where you can hire from a wide choice of dinghies, catamarans and windsurfers. If you enjoy partaking in water sports you will never be stuck for something to do.
This beach is very popular and can become quite busy but it is possible to find a quieter spot if you head along the Puerto Pollença road towards Alcudia. There are many restaurants and bars close by, particularly closer to the town.
Parking can be quite difficult, especially in the busy months.

The villa was brilliant. There was plenty to keep the children - and adults, occupied and plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. I would definitely stay here again.

The villa was outstanding every member of the family couldnt find a fault with it. The children loved the outside with the pool, tennis court and pool table and they didnt want to come home. For all the adults it was relaxing and very peaceful and the great views with a nice walk to the shops. The pictures on the websitr really doesn"t show how lovely the villa is and I would 100% recommend this villa to anyone. We got some great memories now of our holiday to Mallorca

What a fabulous villa. The grassy areas were perfect for the children - and we all enjoyed the tennis court and swimming pool. The location was perfect -away from the hussle and bussle of Puerto Pollensa. The villa was well proportioned for our large party. Plenty of room for everyone without being on top of each other. Probably the nicest villa we've had so far. Well recommended.

Rachel Gateshill, 16-Jul-2011

This was a beautiful, traditional villa - spacious, tranquil and set in a lush garden surrounded by countryside with distant mountain views. We were struck by the charm of this villa the moment we arrived when white fantail doves fluttered around the entry courtyard in the sun. The pool is lovely - very big and deep, which suited our party of adults and teenagers well. We used the pool table, barbecue house, tennis courts and table tennis often and had a fantastic holiday. You can just see the sea from the upper balcony. Cleaning and maintenance staff were very discreet and did an excellent job. What it isn't is a clinical, modern villa - we loved it.

Great villa in super location, heated pool was wonderful and with daily use the children became far more confident in the water as the holiday passed. A super holiday overall.

Although this was not our choice of villa (as Villa Campomar which we had booked was withdrawn 3 weeks before our departure) your UK staff were excellent with ensuring we were accomodated in a suitable alternative. We would definitely travel with Villa Plus again - from the perspective of a young family, travelling out of high season, I would recommend the advantage of free pool heating is more heavily marketed. We were in Pollenca Sept '08 and the weather was very cold - the unheated pool we had was unusable with a small toddler due to the temperature of the water. However, this year the pool heating was a god-send (and free!!) as our toddler spent every waking hour in a warm, safe pool. This can't be advertised strongly enough as far as we are concerned.
